Last week, the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, DFS, and Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee hosted an Active Shooter Incident Management training led by C3 Pathways. #TechRescue Tuesday: Last week, members of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Technical Rescue Group rehabbed the Trench Rescue Training Trailer to prepare for this season's deliveries. All contents were removed and every nook and cranny was cleaned out. The tools and equipment were cleaned, labels were updated, 10 new ground pads were put into place, the inventory was updated, and a new set of strut controllers were put into the strut controller box. Thanks to our instructors, Cribroom and Facilities staff, and all who lent a hand!

Rehab 7 and our Special Operations staff supported #Hazmat techs, the #MillburyMA Fire Department, and mutual aid at last month's fuel tanker rollover on Route 20. We were joined by the good folks at Special Signal Fire Association / Providence Canteen! This was an all-day response, making effective rehab a necessity for the personnel onscene. The #AuburnMA Fire Department recently fought a house fire that started with a propane grill and spread to the home. If you're cooking outside, remember to keep that grill at least 10' from the side of the home and out from under any overhangs or branches. Never use a grill on a porch, balcony, or fire escape!
